Photo Mode and Extreme Difficulty push the Strange Brigade to the limit

Thought you were done with Strange Brigade? Well, in the world of the weird, nothing is ever done – especially now that Rebellion have announced two new game modes.

Arriving for free on Monday 26th November 2018 will be both a photo mode and an extreme difficulty into Strange Brigade. The best thing about them? Both are going to be totally free.

If you have yearned for the opportunity to take some stunning shots in Ancient Egypt, then photo mode is the thing you’ve been waiting for. Giving the option to pause the action and then amplify things with a variety of features, photo mode will let you use sliders to adjust focal distance, aperture and field of view. As you might expect, there will be dozens of filters included too, like Noir, Matinee and Comic Book, and frame photos like a “Wish You Were Here” postcard, a classic movie poster and more.

But that’s not the only freebie on its way and also included as part of the November update will be an Extreme mode. Yep, that’s right, this is a nefarious new difficulty level for the Strange Brigade story campaign, making every enemy more durable, and every hit coming your way packing an even bigger wallop. The Extreme mode has been designed to encourage players to put their thinking caps on and get tactical – you’ll need to use the environment wisely and pick your moments should you wish to stay alive!

Also included in this update will be new Score Attack levels – “Great Pyramid II” and “Afterlife II” – and the new Horde map “Void.” What’s more, the very next day we will be seeing the conclusion to The Thrice Damned campaign with the Great Pyramid of Bes and the Maharani Huntress Character Expansion Pack both arriving.

If you haven’t yet dipped into the madness of the Strange Brigade, then you really are missing out on something special. Check out our review and then prepare yourself for an adventure unlike any other.
