Rematch Season 4
Rematch Season 4 – lift that trophy!

The summer football season is in full swing, and Rematch is making sure its players can get involved in the action and World Cup hype. With more than six million players having stepped onto the virtual pitch since launch, Sloclap is now rolling out Season 4 of Rematch, bringing a brand-new Nations Cup event, fresh rewards and a collection of gameplay improvements across Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC.

Launching on June 11th, Season 4 leans heavily into international football fever, giving players the chance to represent their country, unlock exclusive cosmetics and battle for bragging rights in a limited-time global competition.

At A Glance

  • Rematch Season 4 launches June 11th
  • Nations Cup event runs until July 23rd
  • Choose from 32 nations and compete for rewards
  • New Captain Pass introduces exclusive cosmetics
  • Gameplay updates include Fake Shot and goalkeeper improvements

Represent Your Nation In The Nations Cup

The headline addition for Season 4 is undoubtedly the Rematch Nations Cup.

Running from June 11th through to July 23rd, the event allows players to choose one of 32 participating nations before jumping into fast-paced matches alongside fellow supporters. Success throughout the various event phases earns additional Pass tokens, rewarding those who help their chosen country climb the rankings.

Choosing a nation comes with immediate bonuses too. Players unlock a themed profile package featuring a unique background, banner, avatar and title based on their selected flag. A free Nations Cup AR is also awarded, helping players show their allegiance every time they step onto the pitch.

As an extra welcome gift, everyone can claim a free bundle containing a Victory Mood, Beard, Haircut and two Avatar items. We all know you want that Beard.

Climb The Captain Pass

Season 4 also introduces a brand-new Captain Pass built entirely around the Nations Cup theme.

Progressing through matches and challenges unlocks a range of rewards, with the Olympus Stadium AR obtainable relatively early in the pass. Players willing to put in the time can eventually work their way to Tier 100, where the Championship Ring awaits as the ultimate reward.

For those wanting even more customisation options, Sloclap is also introducing premium national-inspired kits based on France, Brazil, the United Kingdom and the United States, each redesigned to fit Rematch’s distinctive visual style.

New Tricks And Better Goalkeeping

Season 4 isn’t just about cosmetics and events.

A new Fake Shot mechanic has been introduced, giving attacking players another tool to wrong-foot defenders and create scoring opportunities. Goalkeepers have also received improvements designed to make saves feel more impactful while adding greater authenticity to matches.

Elsewhere, Spectator Mode has been expanded, making it easier to jump into friends’ games and watch the action unfold. Ban and Report systems have also been improved as part of Sloclap’s continued effort to keep the community welcoming and competitive.

A Bright Future For Rematch

The arrival of Season 4 is another significant step for a game that has quickly carved out its own space in the multiplayer sports scene.

When we reviewed Rematch, awarding it an impressive 4.5/5 score, we said: “I do really think that Rematch is a game almost everyone will enjoy. It’s got great mechanics that are easy to learn, hard to master and addictive as anything. Not only is Rematch a wonderful game built for football fans, it’s a one of a kind multiplayer experience that everyone should try, regardless of their football enthusiasm. With more content to come in the future and with continued support from Sloclap, Rematch will have many bright years ahead of it thanks to its captivating and compelling gameplay. If it’s this fantastic at launch, I can’t wait for what comes next! Once you pick the controller up you won’t be able to put it down, and that’s only part of the magic behind Rematch.

Season 4 looks set to continue that momentum, adding another layer of competition and national pride to a football experience that continues to evolve.

The Rematch Nations Cup goes live on June 11th and runs until July 23rd across Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC.
