We are overwhelmingly excited for the launch of Rooftops & Alleys: The Parkour Game, and that day has finally come.
One of the most anticipated games in June, there has existed a gap in the market for a super-stylish, cheeky parkour game for a while now. Michel Losch is the solo developer behind the all-singing, all-dancing parkour experience that has finally come out of early access; read on to find out more!
Fly Like a Bird
Now available on Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch and PC, Rooftops & Alleys has been kicking around in PC early access for just over a year now, and in the meantime Michel has been cooking behind the scenes.
Featuring a number of carefully-designed maps, each with different beams, ramps, walls and the like to jump, flip and run across, you’ll be able to take on time trials, trick challenges, and competitive multiplayer battles as you attempt to become the ultimate parkouring master.
Rooftops & Alleys has a colourful look to all proceedings, underscored by some bouncy tunes, although we can see many just sitting back, relaxing with their own music as they master the many trick combos that can be pulled off.
Both first-person and third-person camera modes are available, so take your pick!
Alone or With Friends
Rooftops & Alleys is at its heart a social game, with a variety of multiplayer modes (TAG, Trick Battles, Capture the Flag and more) to take on, and over 100 customisation options to allow players to express themselves.
That’s not to say the game is short of solo content, with the ability to explore nooks and crannies of each map as a pigeon allowing you to plan out routes.
