Pixel Perfect Management: Kairosoft Brings Tennis and Cruising Sims to Xbox

Latest Reviews

Another week, another couple of Kairosoft games land on Xbox. And this time you’ll get to channel your inner Wimbledon fantasies, or head off on a trip around the world…

Available right now as the latest additions to the Xbox Store library, playable on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S are both Tennis Club Story and World Cruise Story. Each are fully optimised for Xbox Series X|S and will set you back a ÂŁ9.99 asking price.

As with all other Kairosoft games that have arrived over the recent weeks and months, Tennis Club Story and World Cruise Story are delicate little pixel affair, pocket games that will keep you busy for a few hours, micromanaging and objective hitting.

Tennis Club Story – smashing aces

For us, Tennis Club Story is the most exciting of the two. That’s not due to us still being on a Wimbledon high, but because we adore decent tennis games. Whether this has enough about it to challenge for a place on our ‘Best Tennis Games on Xbox‘ article, we’re unsure, but the premise is intriguing enough.

See, in Tennis Club Story we get the chance to take charge of a tennis club, discovering new stars, honing skills and building out facilities as suits. With sponsors to keep happy, customers to teach and more, whether it be the singles competitions you aim for, or some doubles fun, Tennis Club Story should appeal.

World Cruise Story – head around the world

World Cruise Story is a bit different, as we ditch the tennis racquets and instead head off on a life of luxury, all with the express intention of entertaining the most rich of VIPs.

Taking charge of a ship, and micromanaging everything that comes with that is the idea with World Cruise Story, keeping on top of restaurants, all the usual facilities and more. The question is, can you turn things from a little sea-worthy vessel up to a floating paradise?

The Xbox Store pages you need to download either Tennis Club Story or World Cruise Story are above. Hit them up, pay the cash, and enjoy the pocket perfection within.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.
