Pure Chess is out on Xbox One and Steam this week and if you fancy yourself as something of a tactical genius, then you should read on.
Ripstone Games are holding a special Twitch event on Friday 9th Sept, pitting a chess Grandmaster against the world. Simon Williams will be put up against the collective minds of the Twitch chat as they live-stream Pure Chess. Starting at 8am PST on September 9th, Ripstone and Williams will be streaming Twitch vs Pure Chess at twitch.tv/ripstonegames. By typing chess moves into the Twitch chat, viewers will be able to vote on the moves that Twitch makes against Williams.
The best thing about it is that if the Twitch viewers win, everyone playing will receive a free Ripstone Steam game!
