There’s a chill in the air as a new member of the Injustice 2 roster arrives… but it’s not a regular DC Comics hero or villain. Oh no, it’s Mortal Kombat’s Sub-Zero!
One of NetherRealm’s most recognisable characters, Sub-Zero, has made his way into Injustice 2 to bolster the roster, bringing with him a whole host of ice-based powers and martial arts expertise. He’s the second part of the first Fighter Pack, which has already seen the Red Hood arrive for action. As the leader of the Lin Kuei clan, Sub-Zero can conjure up ice at will and is able to create entire sculptures of himself to lure opponents into a frozen hell, or just to chuck at unsuspecting victims – because why not?
Although he’s been available to some gamers for a short while, Sub-Zero can now be purchased separately for the price of £4.79 on the Xbox Games Store. Is he the stone cold fighting machine that you’ve been hoping for, or is he not a patch on Captain Cold? Let us know in the comments, our forum, or on social media!
If you haven’t even played Injustice 2 yet, then our review might convince you to get involved sooner rather than later.
