We get to find out with the launch of Super Arcade Soccer 2021.
Available to purchase and download right now on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, Super Arcade Soccer 2021 comes from the one person dev team of Ruben Alcañiz as they look to take on the might of EA and Konami and muscle in on the football scene.
Well, strictly that’s not true as Super Arcade Soccer 2021 is a totally different beast than those two behemoths, instead doing away with the simulation angle to provide a more arcade-styled kickabout.
It comes with a mere £5.79 price tag attached, but promises to ‘let you play soccer like never before’. Them’s the words of Ruben Alcañiz, not us, yet we’re not really sure the statement was meant to ring as true as it does.

Super Arcade Soccer 2021 is however promising to deliver the basics of what you would expect to see in any football title. With 100 clubs, 60 international teams and 1800 players who have been based on real-world footballing stars, if you’re looking to take a punt, it covers the basics.
