Plumber Simulator – fixing up on console and PC

There is no glamour in a burst pipe at 3am, but someone has to answer the call. That someone will be players in Plumber Simulator, a newly announced hands-on business sim from Take It Studio, the team previously behind Electrician Simulator.

Heading to PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation platforms, Plumber Simulator will swap loose wires and smart devices for leaking pipes, flooded homes and the kind of fiddly repair work that can turn a small issue into a major mess if handled badly.

At A Glance

  • Plumber Simulator has been announced by Take It Studio
  • Run a small plumbing business and respond to emergency callouts
  • Repair leaks, replace pipes and build full sewer systems
  • Coming to PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation

A Dirty Job With Plenty Of Detail

Plumber Simulator is built around the everyday work of keeping a city’s ageing water and sewer systems functioning. Pipes will leak, joints will fail and entire systems may buckle under pressure, leaving players to locate the fault, shut off the water and get things working again before the damage spreads.

It will not simply be a case of pointing at a broken pipe and pressing a button either. Every installation is made up of individual parts that can be examined closely, dismantled and rebuilt. Players will need to measure spaces, select the right pipe sizes and work with fittings, valves and other components to create an efficient system.

That should make each job feel more like a puzzle than a quick repair, especially when the wrong decision could result in a fresh flood.

Copper, Steel Or Plastic?

The material used for each job will matter too.

Players will work with copper, steel and plastic pipes, each requiring its own tools and techniques. Choosing cheaper parts may help keep costs down, but it could also reduce the margin for error and leave a customer less than impressed with the finished work.

As the business grows, the work will expand beyond emergency repairs and basic maintenance. Plumber Simulator will allow players to plan and install complete sewer networks from scratch, deciding how to route pipes through a property while ensuring every connection is properly sized and secured.

Not every customer will stop at fixing the problem. Once the plumbing work is complete, some clients may hand over the keys to the rest of the room too. Optional bathroom decoration will let players choose fixtures, arrange interiors and work within a client’s budget to deliver a finished renovation rather than simply leaving behind a functioning set of pipes.

Another Hands-On Sim From Take It Studio

Take It Studio has previous experience with this sort of practical, job-focused simulation through Electrician Simulator, which made its way to Xbox in 2024. That game asked players to repair appliances, work with electrical systems and tackle smart-home installations, and Plumber Simulator looks set to take a similarly detailed approach to a different trade.

We don’t yet know when Plumber Simulator will turn up at our door, but it has been confirmed for PC (Steam), Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation platforms. If you have ever looked under a sink and thought you could probably sort that out yourself, this may be the safest possible way to find out.
