Car Cops Police Patrol Simulation Launches On Xbox And PC

If you’ve ever wondered what life on roadside patrol is really like, Car Cops is here to let you find out – and it’s a lot more explosive than you might expect.

Launching on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC with Play Anywhere support, this budget-friendly police sim throws players into the unpredictable world of traffic stops, emergency response, and high-speed chases.

Priced at just £4.19, with a Complete Edition available for £4.99 (including the Drip Patrol DLC), this is a quick-hit simulation that mixes inspection gameplay with action-packed moments behind the badge.

Patrol The Streets And Trust Your Instincts

At its core, Car Cops is about observation and decision-making. Every vehicle you pull over could hide something suspicious, or nothing at all. It’s up to you to check documents, inspect drivers, and search vehicles for anything that doesn’t feel right. It’s something we have done previously in Highway Police Simulator and Police Simulator: Patrol Officers.

That might mean scanning cars with specialist equipment, slicing open seat cushions to look for contraband, or carefully examining IDs and faces for inconsistencies. Each stop is unpredictable, and that uncertainty keeps things interesting.

But things don’t stay calm for long. Criminals may flee, emergencies can break out, and sometimes you’ll need to switch from investigator to first responder in seconds.

More Than Just Traffic Stops

While inspections form the backbone of the experience, Car Cops mixes things up with moments of real urgency. One minute you might be performing CPR on a stranded driver, the next you’re chasing a suspect across town or dealing with explosives hidden in a vehicle.

This blend of simulation, arcade action, and quick decision-making gives the game a surprising amount of variety for its price point. It’s not about long campaigns or deep systems; it’s about quick scenarios that keep you engaged and guessing what’s coming next.

Personally, we think we’ll stick to The Precinct for our policing duties, but this one may just about scratch an itch.

A Bite-Sized Police Simulation

Car Cops leans into accessible gameplay rather than realism-heavy simulation. It’s the kind of game you can jump into for short sessions, solving roadside problems, chasing suspects, and helping citizens along the way.

For players who enjoy smaller simulation experiences, or just want something different from the usual racing and shooter releases, Car Cops offers a quirky take on law enforcement life.

Whether you’re delivering justice in court, putting out fires, or spotting criminals hiding in plain sight, the badge is yours to wear now. Just make your way to the Xbox Store and gather up the download you need.
