The free Garage & Tools Update brings new vehicle features for all players, while the Vehicle Customisation Pack offers even more ways to personalise your patrol car.

And in huge news for subscribers, the base game itself lands on Game Pass today!

This wave of content for the simulation title from developer Aesir Interactive and publisher Astragon Entertainment is available on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC.

This premium DLC adds 30 additional customisation parts:

Whether you’re patrolling downtown or responding to calls on the highway, this pack lets you roll out in style.

Now Patrolling on Game Pass!

In a major move that coincides with this update, Police Simulator: Patrol Officers is now available for subscribers to play via Game Pass on Xbox and PC.

This offers a fantastic opportunity for a whole new audience to experience life on the beat in Brighton. You can find out more about this and other Game Pass additions in our recent Game Pass round-up.

A Chance for Redemption?

The arrival on Game Pass and the continued support with free updates and new DLC could be a significant moment for Police Simulator: Patrol Officers.

When we first reviewed the game, we awarded it a 1.5/5, stating: “There’s absolutely no faulting the premise of Police Simulator: Patrol Officers… But as soon as you look past that initial premise, pretty much everything else in Police Simulator Patrol Officers goes wrong. It looks rubbish, has visual pop-up galore, draw distances that are no longer than your arm and a whole load of issues relating to how the world around you unfolds… Police Simulator: Patrol Officers should be handing in its badge for lack of care to the community, well before its shift is over.

With the new Garage & Tools Update promising improvements and the game now accessible to millions via Game Pass, players can decide for themselves if Brighton has cleaned up its act.

The free update is available now for all players. Game Pass subscribers can download Police Simulator: Patrol Officers today, and those looking for extra visual flair can seek out the new Vehicle Customisation Pack on digital stores.
