2026's Best Games

Are you tempted into the life of a road warrior? How about if that life was absolutely free? Well that’s the case now Crossout is here!

Available on Xbox One, PS4 and PC, Crossout is a free-to-play action MMOG set in a post-apocalyptic world which has been left devastated by an alien invasion. Crossing high octane MMO gameplay with the chance to customise vehicles, Crossout brings you vehicle combat, open PvP battles and thousands of car design opportunities as you amend the shape, armor, weapons, support systems and cosmetic enhancements as you see fit.

Trading with others is key, but you’ll also need to be on your guard as you take part in multiple fights which will see the victor being the one who has perfected their own killing machine.

As you would expect from a free-to-play game, there are also a number of paid DLC pieces for you to also consider, especially  if you want more vehicles and weapons. In fact, there is a fair bit of it and the following can all be picked up right now…but they ain’t cheap!

  • Harsh Weekday Bundle – ÂŁ19.99
  • Snappy Pack – Free
  • Born To Fly Bundle – ÂŁ15.99
  • Midgar Bundle – ÂŁ23,99

I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore. Free to Play = not going to even bother downloading. I have more than enough games in my backlog to be spending it grinding in a cheap business model.

It is a grind if you don’t learn the market within the game, but it is actually a very good game. You might be missing out by not jumping into this one

Played the beta and it’s pretty fun. Dunno how much longevity there though, will see.

Much like war thunder, its a grind. Not the ok I can put few hours grind either. But the “how many coppers I need for purple….. and that’s just for one weapon?” *seizure* kind of grind. But game play is fun in twisted metal kinda way.
