Post-cyberpunk 2D action-adventure Neon City Riders arrives on Xbox One, PS4, Switch and PC

Prepare to be engulfed in a neon-fuelled 2D action-adventure as Mecha Studios’ debut title, Neon City Riders, brings its post-cyberpunk world to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC. Are you rad enough to take the city’s fate into your hands and dispel the gangs within?

The product of a successful Kickstarter campaign from way back in 2017, Neon City Riders throws you into the role of the totally rad, masked vigilante, Rick. The futuristic Neon City setting must be explored in order for you to free it from the grip of super-powered gangs, each with their own turf. Along the way you’ll make use of unlockable superpowers and team up with companions to aid in the ultimate aim of defeating these vicious enemies, which sees fast-paced combat at the forefront of proceedings.

That’s not all though as there are lots of optional side-quests to complete, a selection of puzzles to solve and four different endings to achieve. So if Neon City Riders sounds like your kind of game and you wish to become immersed in the retro-futuristic world inspired by 80’s pop-culture, simply head on over to the Xbox Store to grab it for £15.49. Should you wish to own it on another platform, it’s also available via the PlayStation Store, the Nintendo eShop and Steam.

Game Description:

Looking for a 2D action-adventure mixed with super-powered urban gangs in a post-cyberpunk neon scenario? Well, if you do, Neon City Riders is right for you! Assume the role of Rick, a rad masked vigilante in search of superpowers and companions to defeat hordes of vicious enemies, solve defiant puzzles, unlock new paths, complete engaging side-quests, and finally, free the decaying futurist Neon City that has been seized by a group of superpowered gangs!

Been gaming casually since the SNES as a youngster but found my true passion for games on the Playstation 1 (the forbidden word ooo). My addiction grew to its pinnacle with the purchase of an Xbox 360 & Xbox Live Service. A recovering GS hunter that will still play literally any game.
