3d billiards pool and snooker xbox

Pool and snooker games have come on leaps and bounds in recent years, with the likes of Pure Pool covering both sports in the finest manner, giving gamers the chance to build breaks and play with spin like never before. But now there’s a new kid on the block, one that is fully optimised for the next gen consoles of Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S. That game is 3D Billiards – Pool & Snooker – Remastered.

Available to purchase and download right now on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, anyone looking to show their potting skills can do so with this joint effort from Joindots.

It’s priced at £14.99, which may not be quite as cheap as we would like, but it certainly looks to cover the bases required of a billiards, snooker or pool title. And that next-gen optimisation makes it a rather intriguing release.

3D Billiards – Pool & Snooker – Remastered makes the most of Smart Delivery on Xbox too – something that we don’t see enough of – and this means that one purchase of the game will allow you the chance to take home the finest version possible. Whether you are playing on Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S, you’ll be safe in the knowledge that you’ve got access to the version you need.

If you do decide to stump up the cash, you’ll find that 3D Billiards – Pool & Snooker – Remastered will give you plenty of options. There’s classic 8-ball play, along with 9-ball fun and 10-ball madness. There’s even the chance to work the larger table and smaller pockets, proving yourself as the next Whirlwind, Rocket or Pearl.

Promising rooms and arenas that are highly detailed, and the chance to play alone against AI of different difficulty levels, or the opportunity to roll in local multiplayer, 3D Billiards – Pool & Snooker – Remastered should well do the business for those after a new pool or snooker experience.

If you think you’ve got what it takes to excel in 3D Billiards – Pool & Snooker – Remastered then you should be taking aim and making a shot for the Xbox Store

Hold tight whilst we get hands on if you’re after a review.

Game Description:

Step up to the virtual table and show what you can do with a cue! In addition to the pool hall classic eight-ball, you can also play nine-ball, ten-ball and even snooker! Whether alone against the AI or in a duel against a real player on the same console, you’ll send balls careening across the table in four selectable, highly-detailed rooms as you work your way up the local high score list. Choose from ten attractive avatars as you duel against AI opponents of varying difficulty levels. Get pumped up by the engaging pool-playing soundtrack. And listen closely for the authentic sound effects, like the clack of the balls, collisions, breaks and the characteristic way the balls roll across the table. Take aim, put a bit of finesse on your shot and play like a real pro!

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
