Edit: 15/04/21 – PQube have now added Xbox One and PS4 options to the already announced Xbox Series X|S, PS5, Nintendo Switch and PC release formats. Basically, whatever you’re gaming on, you’re going to be covered with Kitaria Fables.

Fusing together action adventure with a bit of farming simulation, PQube – they behind the likes of Nexomon: Extinction and New Super Lucky’s Tale – have today unveiled a brand new IP, Kitaria Fables.

Due to hit Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch consoles along with a PC Steam launch next year, Kitaria Fables is being developed by Twin Hearts with PQube helping it roll out to the masses. Sold as an action adventure fused with RPG and farming elements, it’ll see you go armed with a sword, bow and spellbook as you fight against a rising darkness threatening the world.

Set in the world of Canoidera – a fairly peaceful and tranquil land – you’ll fast discover that the world is on the edge and as the wildlife around Paw Village becomes increasingly aggressive, The Empire has called upon you to investigate and defend its citizens. From there, expect to make your way to your Uncle’s home in Paw Village and from your new base, explore the huge world teaming with wildlife, resources and loot to help you in the long journey ahead. What this means is you’ll be plundering dungeons in search of relics and resources, tending to your farm to make provisions and potions, and taking on quests solo, or with a friend!

You’ll have all the gear you need too – melee weapons and bows will be in place, as will the opportunity to forge new spells in class-free combat. Kitting your loadout in a way which suits your preferred style of battle is going to be par for the course, letting you craft magic, weapons and armour which compliment your play style.

With plenty of resources available, the options found in the land of Canoidera promise to be plentiful.

For now, check out the trailer below and then hold tight for Kitaria Fables to launch on Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch ad good old PC on Steam in 2021!

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.
