Prehistoric Gal
Prehistoric Gal – out now on Xbox, PlayStation and Switch

Some rescue missions are born from epic tragedy; others begin because a ham-loving caveman has been nabbed by extraterrestrials. Prehistoric Gal embraces the latter with a quirky and fun premise.

Developed by lightUP and published by the prolific Ratalaika Games, this colourful adventure has launched on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch for just £4.99.

A Rescue Mission of Prehistoric Proportions

Prepare to run, jump, and even ride dinosaurs as you embark on a quest through a colorful prehistoric world to save your beloved Dude.

The story of Prehistoric Gal kicks off when Dude, everyone’s favourite ham-loving caveman, is unceremoniously abducted by evil space aliens. It’s now up to our heroine, Gal, to step up and travel through a dangerous prehistoric world to get her boyfriend back.

Running, Jumping, and Dino-Riding!

At its heart, this is a classic platforming adventure – so extremely far removed from the likes of Jurassic World Evolution. You’ll need to run and jump your way through four colourful stone-age environments, overcoming challenging enemies and dangerous traps that stand between you and your goal.

As you progress, you’ll gain levels and obtain helpful items to aid you on your quest. And to keep things interesting, the game features branching paths to explore within its four distinct worlds. Best of all, you’ll even get to ride dinosaurs to help you overcome the alien menace!

Check out the launch trailer for a look at the dino-riding action…

  • Explore 4 Worlds: Travel through four colorful stone-age environments with branching paths.

This is a classic tale of gal-meets-dude, dude-loves-ham, dude-gets-abducted-by-aliens, gal-rides-dinosaur-to-save-him.

If you’re ready for a fun, straightforward, and budget-friendly platforming adventure, Prehistoric Gal is waiting for you on the Xbox Store and other digital storefronts right now, like the Nintendo eShop.

Go get your Dude back!

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
