The HAMSTER Corporation is back with yet another faithfully reproduced NEOGEO classic; we’ve already had the first, second and special versions of Fatal Fury, so it makes sense that Fatal Fury 3 has now arrived!
First released by SNK in 1995, Fatal Fury 3 is the fourth instalment of the fighting game series and the story side of it takes place after the events of Fatal Fury 2. Basically, the main character Terry Bogard learns of a new threat in South Town at the same time that Ryuji Yamazaki, the most-wanted criminal in Japan, shows up. Expect to find five new characters – taking the total to ten – ready for the intense fights the lie ahead. In terms of gameplay, there’s a new Oversway feature which turns stages into three plane format, instead of the usual two.
