From the Crazy Viking Studio team comes the release of Volgarr the Viking II. For many, that name will usher up many a memory, mostly as they hark back to a time in gaming when games were tough. Others, those coming in green to the Volgarr games, may think differently. We’re guessing by the time they are done with Volgarr the Viking II, they’ll be made fully aware of what we had to put up with back in the day.
Volgarr the Viking II will see you given the opportunity to don your greatest of great horned helmets, channeling your inner Viking soul as you hack and slash your way through some 2D action platforming. It promises to be punishing – in the very best of ways.

We recently had a chat with the main voice behind Volgarr the Viking II, as Kris from Crazy Viking Studios talked us through the arrival of this sequel, of what gamers can expect and more. We urge you to give it a little read.
Sold? Great, but be known that as Volgarr comes back to the mainstream, he won’t be any less ruthless than before. But at least this time he gets the chance to take us through some new worlds, all inspired by the finest of Norse mythology. If not, well, Valhalla…
Sporting the same unforgiving 1980’s arcade style of challenge as the original, Volgarr the Viking II demands precision. You see, one false move will lead to a brutal death and whilst players of the original game will feel right at home on this relentless voyage, more modern gameplay features ease newer players into the savagery with a practice mode, optional checkpoints, save profiles, and unlimited continues.
