You’ve probably already heard that third person action-RPG, Code Vein will be coming to major consoles in 2018, but today Bandai Namco have released the very first trailer. Stop whatever you’re doing and pay attention!
The trailer below showcases the mysterious and captivating universe which will be available in Code Vein. Challenging weapon-based combat will be in place, and you’ll get the opportunity to venture out into the wide world, choosing a companion from the various residents of Vein, before settling down with a strategic angle as you fight numerous vicious enemies.
About Code Vein:
In the not too distant future, a mysterious disaster has brought collapse to the world as we know it. Towering skyscrapers, once symbols of prosperity, are now lifeless graves of humanity’s past pierced by the Thorns of Judgment. At the center of the destruction lies a hidden society of Revenants called Vein. This final stronghold is where the remaining few fight to survive, blessed with gifts of power in exchange for their memories and a thirst for blood. Give into the bloodlust fully and risk becoming one of the Lost, fiendish ghouls devoid of any remaining humanity.
Whilst there has been no firm confirmation from Bandai over which consoles we can expect to see Code Vein arrive on, chances are that Xbox One, or even Scorpio, will be on that list. If they’re not, then well, it’ll be disappointing, but until we know for sure you may as well take in every little detail you can.
