Monster High Skulltimate Secrets is coming!

It was but a few days ago that Mattel and Outright Games – in their new long-lasting partnership – announced a brand-new title in the Barbie universe; Barbie Project Friendship. Now, it’s the turn of another mega kids’ toy property as the gothic dolls of Monster High are converted into video game characters. Monster High: Skulltimate Secrets has been officially announced – and there’s a release date to get excited about too!

Open the Doors

Coming soon to Xbox, PlayStation, Switch and PC, Monster High: Skulltimate Secrets is a single-player 3D platformer that will have you bounding around the iconic Monster High school, as a new strange and mysterious threat comes to the fore.

As the newest member of the Boo Crew, containing heroes like Draculaura, Frankie Stein and others, you’ll create your own custom character, making use of the numerous hair, clothing and scareccessories options.

Then, it’s time to hit the halls of the school, and put a stop to the chaos gripping the school tightly!

Mattel x Outright

Monster High: Skulltimate Secrets is the next in a new franchise of titles published by Outright Games in collaboration with toy mega-giant Mattel. On their newest announcement, Erika Winterholler – Head of Business Development, Digital Gaming at Mattel – had this to say:

Monster High continues to resonate with kids and fans as a space to celebrate their true selves, and now we are introducing new characters and a spooktacular mystery to uncover for players on all major consoles and PC… Monster High: Skulltimate Secrets lets players of all backgrounds imagine themselves as part of The Boo Crew and gives them the chance to express their personality in a quirky, playful way that embraces inclusion and creativity.

And now a word from the Outright Games camp on the matter. From Stephanie Malham, as COO of Outright Games:

Monster High is an IP that truly encourages fans to express every part of themselves and think outside the box. We couldn’t be prouder to help build on its legacy and reintroduce the Boo Crew to a new generation of players,… As the latest Monster High video game to be released on all consoles and PC, Monster High: Skulltimate Secrets invites fans to explore faithful recreations of the school, experience a brand-new story, and design their own ghoulish character. Mattel has worked with us every step of the way, providing us the tools and support to create something that will be special for fans old and new.

Coming Soon!

As for that all-important release date?

Well, it’s only right for Monster High: Skulltimate Secrets to launch when it’s high-time for spooks and scares, so an October 29th, 2024 launch it is! Monster High: Skulltimate Secrets will come to Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, Switch and PC.

Look out for our full review of the game on Xbox nearer that time, and let us know in the comments below if this is a title that you (or your little ones) will be enjoying come October.

I'm an avid gamer who will play pretty much anything... but stick an open world or adventure game in front of me and I'm more than happy.
