NightGhast
NightGhast – Xbox horror

Among the scariest titles you can play on Xbox right now, the likes of Outlast and Resident Evil are right up there. NightGhast, however, is looking to trump them all with truly traumatising first-person horror to be experienced.

Mental Troubles

Now available on Xbox and PC, with the game originally launching on PlayStation and Switch earlier this year, NightGhast tells the sorrowful tale of a widow who believes her house has become haunted by an awful spirit known as Schnabelperchten.

She has become completely obsessive-compulsive, under the impression that extreme cleaning of the house will dispel this demon. You will search the house and attempt to get to the bottom of this mystery, holding your nerve across the numerous jump-scares and ghost sightings you encounter.

The majority of the gameplay in NightGhast pertains to a number of puzzles that require you to use your inventory and equipment – whatever you’ve picked up around the house. Additionally, you’ll have to hide from the monsters that stalk your every move… who knows what lurks in the shadows?

Key Features

  • Short, can be completed in under 2 hours.
  • You can run around fast, although we suggest you walk around and explore the background story.
  • Solve simple puzzles using your inventory and your equipment.
  • Collect evidences regarding the paranormal events of this haunted house
  • AI Monsters to chase you, you have to hide from them.
  • Has cinematic cut-scenes to explain the story, which uses real-life screen actors shot on green-screen.
  • Hunt down ghost sightings.
  • Has jumpscares.
  • Ominous background music and soundscapes.

NightGhast and all its horrors can now be experienced on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, Switch and PC. You can now pick it up via the Xbox Store for £4.19.

NightGhast Description

NIGHTGHAST is a first-person horror game about wicked witches and sinister widows…

“I have received an invitation from a widow named Mildred Bartgis, who resides in the countryside. She claims that her house became haunted after her divorce. She insists that an entity by the name of ‘Schnabelperchten’ is angry with her because her house is never clean enough. Perhaps, due to her depression after the divorce, she has become obsessive-compulsive.

However, I’m not a psychologist, so I’m not concerned about her mental state. This case is perfect for me as it holds many paranormal clues. I must search her house to determine whether it is genuinely haunted or not.”

I'm an avid gamer who will play pretty much anything... but stick an open world or adventure game in front of me and I'm more than happy.

The game if you can even call it that is absolute garbage and took around 20mins to complete… It’s not scary at all and is very badly made and a disgrace that it was allowed to even be sold on Xbox store. Absolute trash surprised it’s not straight to gamepass with the rest of the failed junk games. This review above the guy can’t have actually played this game or is being paid by Devs LOL
