Prison Escape Simulator arrives on Xbox Series X|S with tense escape planning, secret tunnels, and prison life survival gameplay.

Prison Escape Simulator breaks out, with a launch on Xbox Series X|S, challenging players to plan, dig, trade, and bluff their way out of captivity.

Coming in at ÂŁ6.69, what starts as boredom behind bars quickly turns into a delicate balancing act of secrecy, upgrades, and social manoeuvring, all wrapped up in a tongue-in-cheek simulation of prison life.

This is a simulator game where patience matters, routine hides opportunity, and every spoonful of dirt could bring you one step closer to freedom – or straight into trouble.

Digging Your Way To Freedom

Escape isn’t immediate in Prison Escape Simulator. It’s earned through careful preparation and a slow-burning plan that unfolds right under the guards’ noses. Armed with little more than a teaspoon and a threadbare cell, players must begin tunnelling beneath the floor, hiding evidence, and expanding their escape route bit by bit.

Covering your tracks is just as important as digging itself. Carpets must be replaced, sand disposed of discreetly, and inspections survived without raising suspicion.

Trading, Scheming And Prison Economics

Life behind bars revolves around favours and resources. Toilet paper becomes currency, junk can be bartered, and relationships with guards and inmates alike can unlock better tools and opportunities.

There’s even room for risk-taking, with gambling playing a surprising role in building both wealth and reputation. Every wager carries consequences, and in prison, influence can be as valuable as a bigger shovel.

Of course, survival means improvement. Prison Escape Simulator allows players to enhance both their character and their surroundings, turning a bleak cell into a surprisingly efficient hideout.

Upgrades range from practical improvements like better footwear, backpacks, and tools, to quality-of-life enhancements such as glow sticks, furniture, and faster ways to dispose of dirt. Training boosts stamina and strength, letting you dig deeper and longer without collapsing under pressure.

A Simulation Built On Tension And Routine

Rather than high-speed action, Prison Escape Simulator thrives on tension and timing. Knowing when to dig, when to rest, and when to stop entirely becomes key to progress. Letters with hints guide your excavation, while daily routines provide just enough cover to keep your plans alive.

It’s a slower-paced experience, but one that leans into its theme with commitment and a sense of dark humour.

Available Now On Xbox Series X|S

Prison Escape Simulator is available now on Xbox Series X|S for ÂŁ6.69, offering a few hours of tense, methodical escape planning at a budget-friendly price point. The Xbox Store awaits your cold hard cash. We don’t think it’ll trade for extra toilet paper though…
