Psychonauts 2 Xbox

Xbox Game Pass subscribers will happily rave about the value for money we are getting from the service. But, nothing beats a physical edition. And when that physical edition is being done by the guys over at iam8bit, you know it is going to be special. That’s why, when news of a physical edition for Psychonauts 2 for Xbox and PlayStation is released, it is big news.

As is customary though, there are different versions to choose from. Firstly, available from retailers is the Psychonauts 2: Motherlobe Edition, coming in at $69.99USD. In this neat little package, there is the game itself on disc, a lenticular outer sleeve and a reversible cover sheer, sticker sheet, 6x art cards and a digital code for plenty of behind-the-scenes materials.

For something a bit more fancy, there is the Psychonauts 2 Collector’s Edition. This is exclusive to the iam8bit website and is priced at $129.99USD. It packs in a lot though. As well as the Psychonauts 2: Motherlobe Edition included, there is also the original Psychonauts on disc, download codes for all three volumes of the soundtrack, an exclusive five pin set based on the Feast of the Senses, two posters, an additional sticker sheet and a collector’s box to house it all in.

“I’m very excited about this release because, “Welcome to My Mind,” has been stuck in my head since the game came out last year,” said Tim Schafer, Founder, Double Fine Productions. “I’m hoping that releasing this song into the world (along with the previously-unreleased art and the rest of the soundtrack) will also release it from my mind so I can think about other things.”

The iam8bit store has even more goodies available for you to pre-order. Want an art book? They’ve got one! Need a vinyl release of the soundtrack? Click the link! Need the full soundtrack on six vinyl discs? Guess, what, iam8bit have you covered. Pre-orders are open for these right now, so what are you waiting for?

I am guessing that at this point you are crazily checking your bank accounts and what can be afforded so haven’t actually read this bit. That’s fine, fill your boots.
