We already knew that Pumped BMX+ would be making its way to PC and consoles this summer, but finally we have a confirmed release date and price. Excited yet?

The world’s favourite BMX title will be grinding its way to Xbox One and PC on Sept 18th 2015 for £7.99 / $9.99 / €9.99, with a 20% discount in place for the first two weeks. PS3, PS4 and Vita owners will be able to grab it from Sept 22nd, with Wii U users getting involved from Sept 24th.

Originally released on iPhone and Android, Pumped BMX+ will take the original game and move it on enough to enable it to be a success on console. With 50+ courses, a ton of authentic tricks and 500 in game challenges, you can be sure it’ll take you a while to complete. In addition, every visual aspect of the game has been enhanced, with completely new art and animations – and a fully-licensed soundtrack from up and coming artists completes the package.

Online leaderboards will enable bragging rights and should be a great way to test yourself against your mates.

[blockquote right=”pull-right” cite=”Adam Hunt, founder, YEAHUS”]“I began designing the original game in between jobs – and the fact it’s become such a global success is still unbelievable. I wrote the game purely because, as a keen BMXer myself, the one I wanted to play didn’t exist. I can’t quite believe it’ll soon be sitting alongside the likes of FIFA, Grand Theft Auto and Metal Gear Solid – it’s quite surreal.”[/blockquote]

[blockquote right=”pull-right” cite=”Jason Perkins, managing director, Curve Digital”]“The reaction we’ve been seeing to Pumped BMX+ when we’ve shown it to the public is really exciting. The game’s heritage is without question – and we’re excited to be involved in bringing the franchise to console and PC audiences.”[/blockquote]

Check out the launch trailer below. We’ll remind you when it becomes available.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.
