Sokomine
Sokomine – out now on Xbox, PlayStation and PC

The classic and clever block-pushing puzzle has been given a fiery new twist in a game that has just drilled its way onto the Xbox and PC stores.

Sokomine, a new puzzler where every level is a mix of brains and blasts, has launched via Afil Games, and is now available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5, and PC, with prices starting at just ÂŁ4.19.

A Crystal-Collecting Mission

Prepare to grab your helmet and pickaxe, because in this game, you’ll be pushing mining carts stuffed with dynamite straight into meteors to blow them to pieces and collect the shiny crystals hiding inside.

In Sokomine, you take on the role of a fearless miner on a mission to collect precious crystals. To win, you’ll need to clear every meteor in each level and outsmart every obstacle that stands in your way by planning your steps carefully and triggering fiery explosions at just the right moment.

An Explosive Twist on a Classic

This is a game that follows the classic Sokoban-style of grid-based puzzles, but with a destructive twist. You’ll need to push mining carts filled with dynamite into the path of meteors to clear them out.

The game features a handy unlimited undo feature, so you can rethink your moves as much as you want without penalty.

The Sokomine adventure takes you through 30 puzzles spread across three unique locations. Outer Space teaches you the ropes, the Mining Station tests your skills with tricky craters that stop carts in their tracks, and the Lunar Lab heats things up by introducing furnaces that can destroy your precious carts.

A Perfect Puzzle Pairing

For puzzle fans looking for a great value deal, the Sokomine / Minos Dungeon (Bundle) is available for ÂŁ9.99. This combines all three versions of Sokomine with all the versions of another Afil Games Sokoban-style puzzler.

We’re familiar with that title’s mythological take on the genre. When it launched, we reported on the Sokoban tale that awaits in Minos Dungeon on Xbox and PC. This new bundle is a perfect opportunity to grab two clever, block-pushing puzzle games at once.
