We all know that the internet loves cats and when Claws of Furry hits a console near you, chances are you’ll begin to love them too – especially if you’re looking to put your very best ninja skills to the test in a badass beat ’em up!

Announced today by indie developers, Terhard Studios, Claws of Furry is a roguelike co-op beat em’ up action title that will be found slashing its way to Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC in Spring 2018.

Claws of Furry sees you needing to punch and scratch your way through 50 levels of feline mayhem as you attempt to rescue your Master from the claws of an unknown boss. Blending some fast paced action with classic arcade beat em up madness, Claws of Furry will deliver not just a standard rogue like and arena affairs, but also a Pussycat mode that allows those struggling to get to grips with the hardcore nature an opportunity to play through things with checkpoints and a linear style in place.

Whichever way you decide to play Claws of Furry, you’ll need to utilise your very best ninja skills and unstoppable cat like reflexes – unless of course you wish to team up via local co-op and unleash a collective fury with friends!

The key features of Claws of Furry include:

  • Arcade beat’em up action
  • Multiple Modes including: Rogue-like, Arena, Pussycat & Local co-op
  • Local co-op with up to 4 players
  • A variety of thematic environments and enemies
  • Unlockable costumes with unique gameplay properties
  • Beautiful hand-painted art
  • Unique character design

More information including a confirmed release date will no doubt be with us in the coming weeks, but for now, the trailer below should satisfy your cat desires.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.
