Reckon you’ve got the knowledge and skills required to win a million? You can now prove it by competing in Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? on Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC. 

Created by those at Appeal Studios with Microids running the publishing route, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? is the video game adaptation of the worldwide smash hit TV series. But chances are this time round we won’t have Tarrant or Clarkson in tow… 

Running a price point of £34.99, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? will let you put your knowledge to the test as the contestant’s chair beckons you forth to answer as many questions correctly as you possibly can. Covering six of the most iconic TV sets – the British, American, French, Spanish, Italian and German shows – and adapted for each market, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? comes with more than 2000 exclusive questions ready for each locale and more than 3000 in total. 

These questions will be split across eight different categories, as you attempt to answer as many as possible in the hope of winning a cool million. With the gameshow standards of Phone a Friend, 50-50, Switch the Question and more present, it should be just like partaking in the show for real. 

But there will be things to ensure that Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? is able to cater for all markets. A solo mode with standard difficulty will be the go-to option, but there will also be questions specifically crafted for the younger players out there. You can also though in multiplayer modes which will let you compete across ‘Free-for’All’, ‘Taking Turns’ and ‘Cooperative’; Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? should be perfect for the upcoming holiday season when you are looking for a different party offering to the likes of the brilliant Cake Bash and stunning Overcooked!.

Finally though, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? will also be complete with the ultimate online multiplayer setting – Battle Royale in which you’ll find yourself going up against 99 other players in an attempt to prove your worth. 

Features include:

  • Unlock questions packs by collecting “Neurons” in practicing/playing solo or with friends.
  • Select the themes you want to practice to improve your general knowledge and increase the odds of winning the jackpot.
  • The game offers a complete multiplayer experience with various and unseen game modes: – “Family mode”: has been specially created with children-tailored questions included, for the players to play as a family no matter how old they are; – “Cooperative” mode: team up with up to 3 other players and give the right answer together; – “Taking Turns” mode: compete with up to 9 other players in LAN by sharing the controller!; – “Free-For-All” mode: answer the most questions in a row to earn bonus points: the one with the largest amount of points in the end will win!; – “Battle Royale” mode: compare your general knowledge with up to 99 players online: the last man standing will be the greatest champion!
