QUByte Classics – Jim Power: The Lost Dimension Collection by Piko releases on Xbox

2026's Best Games

Even though QUByte Interactive pop up with new games on a fairly regular basis, there have only been a few ‘Classics by PIKO’. I guess we can add another to the list with the release of QUByte Classics – Jim Power: The Lost Dimension Collection by Piko on Xbox.

Mouthly of a name, yes, but this certainly looks to fit in with the other QUByte Classics, namely Humans by PIKO and The Immortal by PIKO. Admittedly we weren’t totally taken with either game, but we’re hoping there’s more about Jim Power: The Lost Dimension Collection by Piko to warrant the silly low asking price.

Available to purchase and download from the Xbox Store right now, costing you just £8.39 in cash, QUByte Classics – Jim Power: The Lost Dimension Collection by Piko (and yes, we’re copying and pasting that title now) puts you into the shoes of the titular Jim Power, a special agent who is the last hope of the world.

See, aliens have attacked our land and old Jim just can’t stand for an alien invasion. Grabbing his favourite weapons (and Jim lad has got a lot), he starts to take it to the evil Vaprak forces, slowly working his way through a range of platforming levels in hope of taking down all foes, maxing out his abilities and ultimately saving the planet.

It’s all standard retro gaming fare in what QUByte Classics – Jim Power: The Lost Dimension Collection by Piko is trying to achieve, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. Whether it works or not is another matter but we’ll be sure to detail everything in our review of QUByte Classics – Jim Power: The Lost Dimension Collection by Piko on Xbox in the coming days.

You can grab a copy of the game for yourself by visiting the Xbox Store

Game Description:

QUByte Classics: Jim Power: The Lost Dimension by PIKO is a classic action-adventure platformer that brings the special agent Jim Power, to save our planet from the supernatural alien, Vaprak. His forces are too strong, a direct attack would not be effective and that’s why Jim Power has to slip through the defenses and attempt to stop this threat. It’s up to the player to reach Vaprak’s fortress and send him back from where he came. Upgrade your weapons, jump carefully through the platforms, eliminate the enemies and reach the peak of your skills to save the planet from the never knew evil.

I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
