QUByte Classics - The Tale of Clouds and Wind Xbox

There are classic beat ‘em ups like Streets of Rage, Fatal Fury and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles that many gamers would think of before this next title. But, that may be because it goes by different names. Water Margin anyone? A Tale of Clouds and Wind instead? Or this new name: QuByte Classics – The Tale of Clouds and Wind, out now on Xbox, Nintendo Switch and PlayStation.

After initially releasing in the mid ‘90s, The Tale of Clouds and Wind is now available to all thanks to its port to modern consoles. This isn’t your average beat ‘em up, however. And by that I mean you rarely use your fists, instead preferring to do the majority of your fighting with bladed weapons. Take on armies of hundreds with your swords, axes and more to help bring peace back to your land.

More traditionally is the option to choose from three heroes: Shi Jin, Hu Sanniang and Li Kui. Each come with their own stats and preferred weapon so you can easily find your favourite. The Tale of Clouds and Wind is also fully playable in local co-op play. And with multiple endings, difficulties and characters, you may need a friend there for a few hours in order to see everything.

QUByte Classics – The Tale of Clouds and Wind is on the Xbox Store now priced at £4.19. For fans of beat ‘em ups, classic games or just good local co-op experiences, this is a bargain for you all. Let us know in the comments if you will be picking this one up.
