Ever since the first teasing reveal back in May 2020, DIRT 5 from Codemasters has been hotly anticipated. That anticipation reaches all new heights as the game launches on Xbox One, PS4 and PC, with Xbox Series X|S and PS5 versions just around the corner.
DIRT 5 promises to deliver a celebration of speed as it arrives on Xbox One, PS4 and PC, allowing players to take in a whistle stop tour of the globe, partaking in numerous events, a deep career, multiple Throwdowns and more. Throw in the arrival of the Xbox Series X|S version from November 10th, and on PS5 as that console drops, and you’ve got a recipe for a full throttle racing experience.
Priced at £54.99 for the Standard Edition, or £74.99 for the Amplified Edition which allows access from today, some three days ahead of Standard, along with a host of other goodies found in the included Year One Upgrade, DIRT 5 is covering all the bases. This latter option will see players given access to a minimum of 12 new cars, 60 more career events, additional players sponsors, rewards and liveries for the next year or so.
Whichever option you decide to take though, you can expect DIRT 5 to allow you to push your limits with some great looking cars, nailing apexes, jumps and straights in some of the best looking courses and tracks from around the world. You will also get to enjoy a career that is powered by the voice talents of Troy Baker and Nolan North, as well as running both split-screen and online multiplayer opportunities.
