If you like nothing better than grabbing some leathers and donning a skid lid, then you’ll probably love the Isle of Man TT – the fastest, most dangerous motorcycle race in the world. You’ll probably be a bit of a racing fan in general actually, and so the release of TT Isle of Man: Ride on the Edge 3 should be of interest.
Available right now for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and PC players via the Racing Fan edition of the game, TT Isle of Man: Ride on the Edge 3 is NACON and RaceWard Studio’s third iteration of the franchise – with this one delivering all the tension and stress of the real world race. Or at least that’s the idea.
It sees the development and publishing teams take what they would have learnt from the first two games in the TT Isle of Man series, with the original Ride on the Edge and Ride on the Edge 2 already having provided some seriously hardcore bike racing experiences.
We would think that TT Isle of Man: Ride on the Edge 3 will be better than both those games, as it gives us the opportunity to take in the 264 bends, the 60kms of tarmac and the fastest bikes associated with the Isle of Man TT. Be brave enough and prove your worth as a serious bike rider and you’ll no doubt be crowned champion of the road.
As you would expect, the official content associated with the race will be here – riders, bikes, teams and more), with both Supersport and Superbike classes in place. It could well be seen as the ultimate Isle of Man racer, with Ride on the Edge 3 also providing open world roaming capabilities, with quick races, career mode, online multiplayer and weekly and monthly racing all on tap.
Of course, to get into the action, you’ll need to go and purchase a copy of TT Isle of Man: Ride on the Edge 3. It’s the Racing Fan edition that gives you access to the game right now, some two days ahead of the ‘official’ street date of 11th May 2023. This more expensive edition also gives access to a Starter Pack too, with additional performance points being yours. You’ll need to find £57.99 in cash.
If you want to save a bit of cash, hold tight for the standard edition on the 11th. That one will set you back £49.99.
