Some games simply want players to slow down, take in the scenery and enjoy a particular feeling. That’s very much the idea behind Poetic Trio, the latest release from developer Tonguç Bodur and publisher Sometimes You.
Available now on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch, this collection bundles together three atmospheric experiences that each focus on a different aspect of nature – rain, snow and wind.
If you’ve played any of Bodur’s previous releases, you’ll already have a good idea of what awaits. Madness!

Three Journeys, One Collection
Rather than delivering a single story, Poetic Trio combines three standalone experiences into one package.
The first, Pluviophile, centres on rainfall and solitude. Players slowly wander through woodland environments far removed from civilisation, accompanied by poetry from Julius Cawein and an original score by composer Pınar Karabaş.
Next comes Chionophile, which shifts the focus to some colder, winter landscapes. Again built around exploration and atmosphere, this snowy adventure unfolds across two chapters, eventually opening up into a larger environment that encourages players to stray from the main path and discover the world at their own pace.
Finally, Loverowind embraces the energy of spring. While still maintaining the contemplative feel found throughout the collection, this chapter introduces faster movement and flower-gathering mechanics as players uncover poetry hidden throughout the environment.
A Familiar Name For Atmospheric Adventures
Tonguç Bodur has carved out a distinctive niche on Xbox over the years, producing a catalogue of narrative-driven and atmospheric experiences that prioritise mood over action.
Games such as Drizzlepath, Purpose 1951, and numerous other releases have all explored similar themes of reflection, nature and storytelling through exploration. Poetic Trio feels like a culmination of that approach, bringing together three concepts under a single banner.
For players who appreciate slower-paced adventures, the collection may prove particularly appealing.
Looking For Something Different?
In a release schedule often dominated by action games and sprawling RPGs, Poetic Trio offers something altogether more understated.
Whether you’re wandering through rain-soaked forests, crossing snowy landscapes or chasing the winds of spring, this is a collection designed for players who enjoy atmosphere, reflection and a slower pace.
Poetic Trio is available now via the Xbox Store, playable on Xbox One, or optimised for Xbox Series X|S. It’s also on PlayStation and Nintendo Switch. Expect to pay a price of ÂŁ8.39.
