Ubisoft is doubling down on its relationship with Xbox, as a renewed partnership between Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege, Xbox Game Pass and BLAST R6 Esports has now been officially confirmed for the 2026 and 2027 competitive seasons.
The new agreement continues the collaboration that first connected Rainbow Six Siege with Game Pass, bringing more in-game rewards, live event activations and esports-focused experiences to players across Xbox, PlayStation and PC.
And with Rainbow Six Siege somehow continuing to evolve more than a decade after launch, Ubisoft clearly sees esports and community support remaining at the heart of the game’s future.

Rainbow Six Siege Esports Gets Another Big Xbox Push
The renewed partnership officially begins during the BLAST R6 Salt Lake City Major later this month, which also marks the return of the two-Majors-per-year structure for competitive Rainbow Six.
From there, Ubisoft and Xbox plan to integrate Game Pass promotions and fan experiences across multiple major tournaments over the next two seasons. That includes activations during the November Major in Japan, alongside the massive Six Invitational 2026 world championship event taking place in Brazil.
Ubisoft says players and esports fans can expect community events, creator meet-and-greets, giveaways and special promotions tied directly into major tournaments throughout the year.
“We’re thrilled to renew our partnership with Xbox Game Pass to further elevate the global impact of Rainbow Six Siege and BLAST R6 esports,” said François-Xavier Deniele, VP Marketing & Esports, R6S at Ubisoft. “Building on the success of our previous collaboration, this renewed partnership allows us to continue delivering enhanced experiences and in-game benefits to our dedicated community of players and esports fans.”Â
More Game Pass Rewards Are Coming
Alongside the esports side of the deal, Rainbow Six Siege players subscribed to Game Pass will also start receiving new in-game benefits from June onwards.
Specific rewards haven’t yet been fully detailed, but Ubisoft has confirmed additional offers will continue appearing throughout the competitive season as key events and milestones arrive.
Siege Continues To Defy Expectations
It’s quite remarkable how long Rainbow Six Siege has remained relevant within the multiplayer shooter space.
Originally released back in 2015, the tactical shooter has continued growing year after year thanks to its evolving operator roster, constant balancing changes and massive esports support. And while plenty of live-service shooters have faded away during that time, Siege still maintains one of the most dedicated competitive communities in gaming.
When we reviewed the Xbox Series X|S version back in 2020, we said: “The PvP element keeps the action fresh, tense, and most of all fun.” We also praised the game’s thriving online ecosystem and tactical depth, something that still feels true even now.
This latest Ubisoft and Xbox partnership renewal suggests neither side is ready to slow things down anytime soon.
