It brings colour, it brings fun and it brings madcap chaos – Rayman Origins is a great little playthrough and right now it is free to download on both Xbox One and Xbox 360.

A native 360 title, Rayman Origins has been stripped of its price tag for the next two weeks as part of the Xbox Games With Gold scheme for January 2017. Obviously you’ll need a valid Xbox Live Gold membership in order to take up the offer, but if you’re an Xbox gamer without one, then you’re missing out on a whole ton of fun.

As is the way, all 360 titles that are given away via GWG are also now Backward Compatible on Xbox One, allowing you to experience the 4-player co-op craziness that accompanies Origins on Xbox One. With 12 unique worlds and more than 60 super coulourful, super vibrant levels, Rayman Origins brings enough entertainment to sort out the whole family.

Just head on over to the Xbox Games Store before the end of January and get your free download in.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.
