Want to get the very deepest gaming immersion possible? Razer have got your back with the first haptics-driven gaming headset that has been designed for Xbox One – the Nari Ultimate.

If you’re a gamer there is next to no chance that you don’t know about Razer, and even though past history has seen them mostly focused on the PC landscape, the arrival of the Turret for Xbox One and the Razer Ripsaw HD in recent months has seen them provide quality console kit too. And to fit in neatly into their product range, comes the Nari Ultimate, the world’s first haptics-driven headset designed for Xbox One that features Razer’s HyperSense for superior gaming immersion.

Powered by HyperSense intelligent haptics, the Nari Ultimate for Xbox One promises to deliver not just an enhanced positional awareness, but some unparalleled gaming immersion. This works by seeing the Nari Ultimate come complete with Razer HyperSense haptics by Lofelt, a leading German technology company that specializes in creating advanced haptics for immersive, realistic tactile experiences.

By utilising special haptic drivers and intelligent digital signal processing, it is able to generate high-definition tactile feedback in real time, creating an immersive in-game experience with any Xbox One game. But further to that we see the Nari Ultimate also able to intelligently pick up on audio cues to transform them into dynamic vibrations, allowing gamers to truly feel the action with no additional software or game integration required.

Engaging the sense of touch is a big thing in audio, and the cues given can accurately mimic the action in the game. And this means that Razer HyperSense will be able to replicate the sensations of key game events, from subtle footsteps to powerful explosions with pinpoint positional awareness of their in-game surroundings.

“The Nari Ultimate for Xbox One was designed to bring an added gaming dimension to all gamers,” said Alvin Cheung, Senior Vice President for Razer’s peripherals business unit. “With Razer HyperSense, we have enabled gamers to experience their favorite titles with unrivaled gaming immersion.”

As you would expect from anything Razer creates, the Nari Ultimate for Xbox One has been designed for prolonged use and enhanced comfort, allowing hours of uninterrupted gameplay. It comes with swivelling earcups which are equipped with memory foam ear cushions, alongside a cooling gel layer to reduce heat buildup from long-term wear.

The Nari Ultimate also comes with a retractable microphone with a quick-mute function, an on-headset HyperSense intensity adjuster, and a game/chat balance slider. The auto-adjusting headband that is also in place should ensure that you have nothing but a hassle-free and snug fit.

What’s more though, it all features Xbox Wireless support for a direct connection to the console with no wireless transceiver required, guaranteeing seamless setup and unlimited freedom of movement. The headset also supports Windows Sonic for more immersive and lifelike audio.

Those who embrace the PC way of life may have previously seen the Nari Ultimate picking up steam over there, and after launching for PC in September 2018, it has received widespread recognition for introducing Razer HyperSense, taking gaming immersion to new heights. Now though, it’s time for Xbox One gamers to experience the award-winning sensations.

The Razer Nari Ultimate for Xbox One release in USA, CAD, EU, AUS, and NZ regions from today. You’ll find it available at a price point of $199.99 USD / €219.99 from Razer direct. Tempted? We are – and you should be too!

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
