Alien Rogue Incursion Evolved Edition
Alien Rogue Incursion Evolved Edition

In space, no one can hear you scream, but your neighbours certainly will as Alien: Rogue Incursion Evolved Edition, a brand-new, terrifying chapter in the iconic sci-fi horror saga has just burst onto consoles and PC.

Alien: Rogue Incursion Evolved Edition, a new action-horror experience from Survios Inc., has launched to the gaming world. This gripping original story is now available on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC, with the Standard Edition priced at ÂŁ24.99.

This is a game we’ve already had the pleasure of surviving, and we’ve come away incredibly impressed. Prepare to be stalked, hunted, and attacked at every turn in a cinematic experience that makes you truly feel like you’re inside the world of Alien.

Our Verdict: A Worthy Addition to the Alien Canon

We’ve already been on this particular bug hunt. In our glowing 4/5 review of Alien: Rogue Incursion Evolved Edition, we concluded that this is a fantastic new entry for the franchise:

Alien: Rogue Incursion Evolved Edition is a worthy addition to the Alien canon of games. It isn’t all out action like Aliens: Fireteam Elite, but requires you to use your brain as well as your trigger finger. I just wish the save system was better.

A New Chapter in the Saga

Alien: Rogue Incursion is set between the iconic Alien and Aliens films.

You will play as the rogue Colonial Marine Zula Hendricks, who is sent to investigate a distress call on the remote planet Purdan. There, she uncovers a secret Weyland-Yutani blacksite that has been completely overrun by deadly, and terrifyingly unpredictable, Xenomorphs.

Aided by your synth companion, Davis 01, you must fight and survive against a deadly incursion.

This is a game that perfectly blends action and horror. You will need to use your weapons, skills, and sheer determination to survive. The Xenomorphs’ ferocity is matched only by their unpredictability, requiring you to use your brain just as much as your trigger finger.

Re-envisioned for Console

The Evolved Edition has been rebuilt for the latest generation of consoles. It features stunning visuals running at 60 fps, immersive 3D audio, and full support for haptic feedback and adaptive triggers, delivering a truly cinematic action experience.

Your Survival Kit: Editions Explained

You can start your fight for survival today with two different digital editions:

  • Standard Edition (ÂŁ24.99): Includes the full base game.
  • Deluxe Edition (ÂŁ33.49): Includes the full game, a Blue Camo Weapon Skin, a Blue Camo Armor Skin, and The Art of Alien: Rogue Incursion Digital In-Game Artbook.

Your Mission Debriefing

Here’s what you can expect from this new action-horror experience:

  • A New, Original Story: The terrifying first chapter of a two-part saga set between the Alien and Aliens films.
  • A Gripping Blend of Action and Horror: Use your brain as well as your trigger finger to survive against unpredictable Xenomorphs.
  • Re-envisioned for New-Gen: Rebuilt with stunning visuals, 60 fps, 3D audio, and haptic feedback.
  • A 4/5 Reviewed Experience: Praised as a “worthy addition to the Alien canon of games.”

The motion tracker is beeping and the walls are starting to move. If you’re a fan of the Alien franchise and are ready for a new, terrifying challenge, Alien: Rogue Incursion Evolved Edition is ready for you on the Xbox Store right now, playable on Xbox Series X|S. It’s also on PC and PlayStation.

Stay frosty.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
