Kingdom Hearts III lives on! Hot on the heels of the recently released HD remasters on Xbox One for the first time, it is once again the turn of the most recent release to receive a hefty update with the Re Mind DLC.
The Re Mind DLC is available to players that have already completed the main story and takes place a short time before the climactic battle. Once again playing as Sora, he is on a mission to rescue Kairi from the Keyblade Graveyard. However, he isn’t there fully in flesh and blood form, and must experience the battles of his friends throughout the series firsthand.
The DLC features multiple boss battles across several episodes including 13 in the Limitcut episode and a special boss battle in the Secret episode. But it also includes several updates to the main game including a new Data Greeting mode, new camera options and several settings improvements that allow for diverse and dynamic difficulty settings and gameplay challenges.
It also has teased the return of Final Fantasy characters that were sorely missing from the original release last year.
The Re Mind DLC comes in two versions: the standard version priced at £24.99 and includes just the DLC. The version at £32.99 comes with the DLC and a bonus video of the Kingdom Hearts Orchestra – World of Tres – concert recorded on 30th November, 2019.
Between the recent HD remaster releases and this brand new DLC, its an expensive month for Kingdom Hearts fans! Which will you pick up first? As always, the comments section is the place to let us know!
