PAC-MAN WORLD 2 Re-PAC, the remake of the beloved action-platformer, is a brand-new journey from developer NOW PRODUCTION and publisher Bandai Namco, now available on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC for £34.99.
This isn’t just a simple remaster; it’s a game remade from scratch with the original recipe, but with a host of new features, expanded levels, and more.
Following a Flawless First Course
The first Re-PAC set an incredibly high bar. We were huge fans of that initial remake, and in our 4.5/5 review of PAC-MAN WORLD Re-PAC, we called it a “fantastic remake that does justice to the original and then some,” and concluded that it was “the greatest Pac-Man game of all time.”
PAC-MAN WORLD 2 Re-PAC has some massive shoes to fill, but it looks more than up to the challenge.
A New PAC-LAND Adventure
The story of PAC-MAN WORLD 2 Re-PAC kicks off as the Ghosts sneak into PAC-Village and steal the precious Golden Fruit. In doing so, they unwittingly free the all-powerful ghost king, Spooky! Now, PAC-MAN must venture across the six unique worlds of PAC-LAND to reclaim the fruit and put a stop to the dastardly Spooky.
This is classic 3D platforming at its best. You will need to run, chomp, and butt-bounce your way through a host of charming and challenging levels. You’ll be B-Doing through Tree Tops, ice skating in Snowy Mountain, and taking aim from the PAC-Marine deep in the Ocean. The remake also features new and expanded levels, giving even seasoned veterans something new to discover.
This is a game that has been remade from the ground up. It features modern graphics, quality of life improvements, and full voice acting. But “Re-PAC” means more. This new version includes new actions for PAC-MAN, updated boss battles, new characters, collectibles, customizations, and even a new 2-player mode.
