Like ’em or loath ’em, free-to-play games are here to stay, with the latest to arrive being that of Minion Masters on Xbox One.
Available to download right now from the Xbox Store for Xbox One, Minion Masters is a fast paced strategic brawler in which you are left to command minions – in effect, making you the Minion Master!
Engaging in both 1-on-1 and 2v2 battles, you’ll need to make the most of a variety of Masters, each of which have their own unique hero abilities, before placing your collected minions down on the playfield. What happens from there on out there is down to them, and with control being relinquished that initial placement phase fast becomes a hugely important aspect of the gameplay.
The main idea is to take on other Masters and seeing your minions destroy them, utilising the likes of cute creatures and fierce demons along with magical spells and more. However, whilst Minion Masters promises to be super easy to pick up and play, mastering the elements will be a whole different ball game; only the hardened will survive and reach the rank of Grandmaster.
Awareness, strategy and determination are all key to Minion Masters and as you mess around and utilise your playing deck – either alone or with a friend in the 2v2 options – discovering the best course of play is certainly going to be a time consuming effort. With unique cards, numerous spells, and plenty more promised going ahead, should you be after a new strategic brawler, and have a bit of a liking to the little minions, then Minion Master on Xbox One should be something to take in.

As you would expect though, free-to-play allows the development team at BetaDwarf the opportunity to throw a number of paid options towards gamers, and alongside the free base game are a number of options to consider.
Rubies are what makes the Minion Master world turn and there are numerous Rubies packs available for purchase – 20000 Rubies for £83.49 and 7500 for £33.49 will only really suit the hardcore players, but for everyone else 3350 will set you back £15.74, 1650 are priced up at £8.39, whilst smaller additions of 750 Rubies and 325 Rubies will cost £4.19 and £2.09 each.Â
Further to this an All Masters set does as it says on the tin for £16.74, whilst the Premium Upgrade will enhance your game for the same price. If you get really addicted to mastering minions then it may also be worth taking a look at the Bones & Bravery Battle Pass for £7.89, delivering all the latest Battle Pass content and tiers

A few examples of this are: AOE damage, healing, teleporting, mana regen, flying and many more. -Spells can be used to change the flow of the game in your favour.
