Thought there was only one farming simulator to worry about in November? Think again because not only are gamers being treated this month to the launch of the brilliant looking Farming Simulator 22, but Real Farm is back, this time in Premium Edition form on the next-gen.
Real Farm first released way back in 2017, but if we’re honest, it’s a game we struggled with; it certainly didn’t ever reach the farming heights that its competition was able to achieve. But that base game has been built out over the years, first with a Gold Edition, and now with the Premium Edition – something that could well be sold as the Definitive Edition of Real Farm.
Available on Xbox Series X|S, PS5 and Nintendo Switch (yeah we know only two of those are next-gen consoles), Real Farm – Premium Edition was first set to drop in September this year. The teams behind it though, they are SOEDESCO and Kokku, pushed it back a little – to today in fact – in order to ensure that what was being released was able to provide the finest farming experience yet.
So what do we have? Well, in Real Farm – Premium Edition we find everything that was available in the previous Gold Edition, along with all the previously released DLC, bug fixes, UI overhauls and graphical enhancements, along with the next-gen goodies provided by the most powerful consoles the world has ever seen.
It’ll give you the chance to pull on the finest looking boots, to jump aboard the best looking tractors and to harvest the most premium of wheat as you explore either the American or West European maps that are available. Taking charge of land, growing crops, working with various staff members and overseeing the keep of animals is just the start of it, but from there the usual farm equipment also comes out to play.
The Premium Edition does however include more still, with both the Potato pack & Grünes Tal map DLC present, better frame rates promised, visual overhauls in the house and a whole variety of QOL improvements for good measure.
SOEDESCO are hoping that Real Farm – Premium Edition is the smoothest running farming experience yet. You can pick it up from the digital store of your choice should you wish to find out for yourself. It’s available on Xbox Series X|S, PS5 and Nintendo Switch. A price of £34.99 (or so) is attached.
