We’ve all been there – unknowingly trapped inside a marvelous tower, and suddenly woken up with our memories shattered. Ina certainly has too, and in Aspire: Ina’s Tale, she must side-scroll her way out of the Tower she unfortunately calls her prison.
Ready to pick up and play now on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch, Aspire: Ina’s Tale is the latest in the genre of beautifully designed 2D platformers, with levels ranging from marble towers to crystallised caves – every region is visually distinct, and comes with its own quirky characters to encounter along the way. Not everyone is friendly though: those platforming skills will be put to the test when Ina stumbles across some of this world’s fantastical monsters.
Don’t just expect to be sitting back and jumping across platforms all the way to the end either, as developer Wondernaut Studio have thrown in some clever puzzles for good measure.
