If you like your FMV games, then you will no doubt love what Wales Interactive have released on a fairly regular basis – there seems to be no signs of those excitement meters dropping any time soon as The Shapeshifting Detective gets ready to release. Today, we find not just a confirmed release date, but further details in regards the pre-order scheme and a little more in regards to the cast who will be starring.
So, coming on 6th November 2018, The Shapeshifting Detective will launch on Xbox One, PS4, PC and Nintendo Switch. Today we discover that pre-orders have opened on Xbox One and Steam, with a rather delightful 20% discount giving gamers the chance to get their cash in early. This will then be replicated on PS4 come 12th October and Switch on the 23rd.
Further to that though and both Wales Interactive and D’Avekki Studios are proud to announce two new additions to the guest voiceover cast for The Shapeshifting Detective. Radio August, the in-game radio broadcast, will guest star YouTube gaming personality, Jesse Cox, and the FMV legend Chris Jones (Tex Murphy). A little bit of detail about each is as follows:
- Jesse Louis Cox – Jesse Louis Cox is a YouTube gaming personality, comedian, voice actor, and game producer. He is the owner of the Jess Cox YouTube channel with close to 1,000,000 subscribers. Find out more here.
- Aislinn De’Ath is an award winning British actress for stage, screen and radio, most widely known for playing Marianna in The Infectious Madness of Doctor Dekker and Veronica McShell in Zombies, Run!
