Relive the Japanese arcade scene with Dangun Feveron on Xbox One!

If you visited Japan back in the late 1990s, and were into the gaming scene, then chances are you would know all about Dangun Feveron. After all, it was a vertical shooter that had massive appeal. Now though we don’t have to travel around the world to get a fast paced shooting fix, for Dangun Feveron has rocked up on our consoles.

Available to purchase and download right now on Xbox One, Dangun Feveron delivers old school vertical scrolling gameplay and manic bullet hell tendencies all in time for its 20 year anniversary.

After wowing the arcade crowds back in the day, you’ll find that Dangun Feveron comes with everything that was great about gaming back in the ’90s, just now it has been delivered with a new shine to proceedings with a twist on the gameplay, some newly remixed music and stupidly powerful gadgets all included.

Should you wish to get involved, then spending a cool $34.99 at the Microsoft Store will see you right. It may not be cheap, and it may only be available to purchase at this current time in the North American region of our globe, but if you’re looking for vertical shooting from a time gone by, then this is quite possibly your best bet.

Game Description:

The M2 ShotTriggers Shmup Renaissance continues! In 1998, CAVE’s shoot ’em up Dangun Feveron, also known as Fever SOS, blasted into Japanese arcades like a shooting star. Get in the groove with Dangun Feveron’s old school style of refreshing and simple vertical scrolling gameplay. This outstanding example of the high speed “”danmaku”” bullet hell genre is back as the second installment in the M2 ShotTriggers lineup, just as it approaches its 20th anniversary! A new shine has been added to this masterpiece from CAVE with features like original game modes that put a new twist on the gameplay, remixed background music, and powered-up M2 Gadgets to help you become a master. Gather your dance energy and get your groove on in the first home console port of this fan favorite that spread dance fever through the arcades!

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.
