Repair and restore in ReactorX 2 on Xbox

reactorx 2

We didn’t expect to ever see a sequel to ReactorX, 2020’s easy Gamerscore giving puzzler that struggled to make an impact on Xbox. But here we are with ReactorX 2. Let’s just hope those achievements continue to flow…

Available to purchase and download right now on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S (with a separate Store page for the PC version if you must) is ReactorX 2.

It comes from Lovixama and TERNOX as they put us in the shoes of a skilled mechanic; an android looking to run through the most challenging of repair missions. See, after a pirate attack has put your spaceship out of action, it’s up to you to try and get things fixed up, looking sharp, before allowing further galactic travel.

What this means is that for your ÂŁ4.19 outlay (yep, this is cheap as chips), ReactorX 2 will take you through five different sectors of your ship, working the some thirty levels of increasing difficulty. Restoring power to your ship is your primary goal – and probably the only goal – and so you should expect a little test of your skills as you go.

Thing is, we reviewed the original game back in 2020, dropping a measly 1.5/5 review score on how ReactorX played on Xbox – it was too short, provided little challenge and came with horrid controls. We’re not sure there’s enough difference between that and ReactorX 2 to make us too excited for this release. Of course, we’ll give it the review once over, delivering our thoughts soon.

For now, head to the Xbox Store and take home a cheap download of ReactorX 2 on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S if you like.

Game Description:

Be an skilled android mechanic in ReactorX 2! The ultimate repair and power restoration challenge awaits you in puzzle game as you take on the aftermath of a pirate attack on your spaceship. With 5 different sectors to navigate and 30 levels of increasingly difficult challenges, you’ll need to use all your skills and problem-solving abilities to restore power to your ship and get back on course.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.
