The remasterings and remakes of the classic PAC-MAN games continues with this next release. Following on from the compilation of PAC-MAN Museum+ is a game that was arguably missing. The classic 3D platformer PAC-MAN WORLD is remade for modern consoles in PAC-MAN WORLD Re-PAC, out today on Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch and PC.
The PAC-FAM have arranged a surprise birthday for PAC-MAN. However, when he returns home, he notices that no-one is there. They have all been kidnapped by the evil TOC-MAN and his ghost minions. TOC-MAN has this strange obsession with PAC-MAN, even right down to wanting to look like him. As iconic as PAC-MAN is, I don’t think there are many people out there that would choose to look like him, but each to their own.
PAC-MAN must then travel to Ghost Island to rescue his family. Each member is hidden away in one of the six themed worlds: Pirate Ship, Ruins, Space, Funhouse, Factory and Boss Mansion. Each area is full of platforming goodness and a bevvy of secrets to uncover. PAC-MAN WORLD Re-PAC also features:
