It’s been updated for a more modern day audience and today Capcom have revealed the exact release date for Resident Evil Revelations. The wait won’t be a long one either!
Arriving on Xbox One and PS4 come August 29th 2017, the new and improved Resident Evil Revelations takes everything that was good with the original version, and throws on some 1920×1080 resolution, an improved framerate, more detail to the environments and a much more refined creature movement. It promises to be the best looking version of the game to date, and anything that was previously downloadable to compliment it, will be included for unlockable purposes.
Revelations will give you the chance to help Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield investigate the abandoned “Queen Zenobia” cruise ship, before taking on hordes of enemies with a friend online in the returning Raid Mode. This will include “The Ghost Ship: Chaos,” a fresh take on the popular stage with more powerful weapons and ways for players to upgrade their arsenal, and remixed enemy placements for an added challenge.
Additionally, you’ll find four controller schemes based on control types from across the entire series are available in this version of Resident Evil Revelations, delivering a much more flexible experience to accommodate different playstyles.
