Shalnor Silverwind Saga 2 – it’s time to go on a new adventure

The world of Shalnor is once again in danger. With dark magic spreading across a cursed island, it falls to a lone hero to fight back against a growing army of monsters and undead in Shalnor: Silverwind Saga 2.

Now available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC, Shalnor: Silverwind Saga 2 offers players a new fantasy adventure filled with exploration, combat and classic action-RPG mechanics.

Developed and published by Johnny Ostad, this sequel builds on the foundations of the original Shalnor: Silverwind Saga, delivering a larger adventure where players take control of Rynna as she battles a powerful necromancer threatening the realm.

Available now for £7.99 and supporting Xbox Play Anywhere, the game lets players jump between console and PC while continuing their journey through the dangerous lands of Shalnor.

A Dark Threat Returns

In Shalnor: Silverwind Saga 2, a powerful Necromancer has unleashed chaos across a dangerous island already filled with monsters and ancient dangers. Souls have become trapped between worlds, the undead roam freely and hope is fading.

Players step into the boots of Rynna, a determined warrior tasked with pushing back the darkness. To defeat the necromancer and free the lost souls, she must carve a path through hordes of enemies and uncover the secrets hidden across the island.

It’s a journey that blends classic fantasy storytelling with fast-paced combat.

Explore A Vast Island

The island of Shalnor is far from small. Players will travel through 20 distinct zones, each packed with caves, hidden paths and dangerous dungeons waiting to be explored.

Along the way, Rynna will encounter villagers in need of help, lost relics to recover and wandering souls that must be freed from the necromancer’s grasp.

This combination of exploration and side objectives helps flesh out the world, encouraging players to venture beyond the main path in search of secrets and rewards.

Swift Combat And Varied Playstyles

Combat in Shalnor: Silverwind Saga 2 focuses on fast and fluid movement, allowing players to quickly cut through waves of monsters while navigating the battlefield with speed.

To help tackle the ever-growing threats, the game features 15 unique weapons and artifacts, each offering different combat possibilities. Whether you prefer aggressive attacks or a more tactical approach, these tools allow players to tailor their playstyle.

As enemies grow stronger, choosing the right equipment becomes increasingly important.

Continuing The Silverwind Saga

The new release builds on the story established in the original Shalnor: Silverwind Saga, which first arrived on Xbox in early 2025. When that game launched, we covered its debut as “a new chapter unfolding in the elven realm,” introducing players to the world of Shalnor and the adventures that awaited within it.

Now, with Shalnor: Silverwind Saga 2, the journey continues as the stakes grow higher and the dangers more severe.

Ready To Challenge The Necromancer?

With exploration, dungeon crawling and fast-paced combat at its core, Shalnor: Silverwind Saga 2 offers players a compact but ambitious fantasy adventure.

Now available through the Xbox Store, playable on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC, with Xbox Play Anywhere support, the game invites players to take up the fight, defeat the necromancer and restore peace to the island of Shalnor.

The only question left is whether Rynna is ready for the challenge.
