Frogurai – on Xbox, PlayStation, Switch

An epic battle awaits, one between you, the Frog Samurai and that of the evil Snake Clan. Frogurai whisks you off to feudal Japan as a land of danger needs overcoming.

Become Frogurai

Available right now as the latest from Ratalaika Games is Frogurai. This is a dynamic puzzler in which you take charge of a frog samurai, looking to put the world to rights, saving the kingdom from all evil. That evil comes from the snake clan; a group who can only be overcome by agility, speed and nous.

With a sword by your side, in Frogurai you’ll be found navigating various levels (50 in all), sliding this way and that, swiping out at anything that may get in your way. Of course, those levels are full of traps and obstacles too, and you’ll need to ensure your little froggy dude stays safe at all times.

Portals will help you get through the madness of Frogurai, adding to the puzzling elements as they go.

Key features

* 50 levels and speed run mode
* Puzzle game, move in a single direction until you hit an obstacle
* Cute art and sound
* Fast-paced Samurai action

You’ll find Frogurai on the Xbox Store for £4.99, playable on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, fully optimised. It’s also on the digital storefronts of PlayStation and Nintendo Switch.

Will you be taking on the role of the Frogurai? The comments are below. And if you prefer dogs to frogs, then Dogurai may be worth a look.

Frogurai Description

Welcome to feudal Japan, a world of samurai and danger.

Play as a heroic frog samurai tasked with taking down the deadly snake clan and bringing an end to the war. Your agility and speed will be tested as you go over obstacles, walls and ceilings, and navigate through portals.

But be careful, the snakes won’t give up without a fight. You’ll need to use all your frog skills to defeat them and save your kingdom.

Join the epic battle between frogs and snakes and prove yourself as the ultimate Frogurai!

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
