Living The Rider Life
RIDE 6 isn’t just about racing laps; it’s about building an identity on the track. Milestone’s latest entry leans heavily into the idea of motorcycling as both competition and lifestyle, inviting players to carve out their own path through a festival-style career mode known as RIDE Fest.
This new structure sees players competing across a variety of disciplines, eventually facing off against real-world legends of the sport, including Casey Stoner and Guy Martin. It’s a celebration of motorcycle culture wrapped around a traditional racing progression system.
With more than 250 bikes available, spanning road racing machines, baggers, enduro bikes and more, RIDE 6 aims to deliver the most comprehensive garage the series has ever seen.
Beyond The Asphalt
One of the biggest additions this time around is the expansion beyond traditional road racing. RIDE 6 introduces off-road tracks, allowing players to leave the tarmac behind and tackle dirt-based racing challenges.
The game also continues Milestone’s approach of balancing accessibility with simulation depth. Players can now choose between an arcade experience for quick, accessible racing, or the pro experience with full simulation-style control.
The inclusion of the Bridgestone Riding School should help newcomers learn the basics while giving veterans an opportunity to refine their technique.
Online Racing Without Limits
Multiplayer has seen renewed focus in RIDE 6, with full cross-play support allowing riders across platforms to compete together online. Players can climb leaderboards, showcase customised bikes and gear, and test their skills against racers from around the world.
Longevity outside of career mode has historically been a challenge for the series, something we noted in our RIDE 5 review, which scored 4/5: “RIDE 5 is perhaps the most welcoming motorbike racing game to date, while retaining the exciting and challenging gameplay the series is famed for.”
With cross-play and expanded content, RIDE 6 looks set to build on those foundations.
Multiple Editions For Every Rider
RIDE 6 launches with several editions depending on how early you want to get started.
- The Ultimate Edition (£99.99) is available now and includes the full game, Season Pass Vol. 1 and Vol. 2, multiple bike packs, a credits multiplier, and three days of early access.
- The Deluxe Edition (£79.99) arrives on February 12th, bundling the full game with Season Pass Vol. 1 and the Japan and Italy bike packs.
- The Standard Edition (£59.99) also launches on February 12th, giving players access to the base experience.
Game Pass And Play Anywhere?
If you’re hoping to jump into RIDE 6 through a subscription, you’ll need to hold off for now.
The game is not available on Game Pass, and there’s currently no Xbox Play Anywhere support either. That means Xbox and PC versions are purchased separately, with no cross-buy or shared progression between platforms. Of course, that could always change in the future, but for launch this is a traditional premium release.
The Next Step For Milestone’s Racing Series
When Milestone first unveiled RIDE 6 back in late 2025, it was positioned as the next evolution of two-wheeled realism. Now that it’s here, the combination of expanded bike categories, off-road racing, cross-play multiplayer, and festival-style career progression suggests the series is continuing to grow in both scope and ambition.
For fans of motorcycle racing games, RIDE 6 looks ready to deliver another high-speed chapter.
RIDE 6 is available now on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC, with additional editions releasing on February 12th. Stay tuned for our review.
