Death Noodle Delivery – now on consoles

Remember the joys of Paperboy from back in the day? Fancy a cyberpunky styled game that uses that classic as inspiration, dropping in some narrative for good measure? You’ve pretty much found it in Death Noodle Delivery.

A cyberpunked Paperboy?

If you’re old enough to remember the joys of Paperboy, then we would suspect you’ll be heading up the right street with Death Noodle Delivery. The creation of Troglobytes Games, Tiny Pixel and Stupidi Pixel, this is a cyberpunk styled arcade game in which we join the life of Jimmy.

Sounds fine so far, yeah? Well, Jimmy is far from your average Joe, and after finding himself walked over by his new boss, you’ll need to help him deliver noodles to as many customers as he can, all whilst reality falls around him. The best bit? Those deliveries will take place on Jimmy’s finest hoverboard; a hoverboard that is upgradeable, no less.

Priced at ÂŁ4.19, Death Noodle Delivery takes you through Jimmy’s last days, as he hits the mean streets, taking in a gritty, neon-fuelled world. It’s here where the very worst aspects of humanity are found, but when the population come calling for their noodles, it’s those streets which must be tamed.

Scooting around on a little hoverboard, chucking noodles this way and that is just the start of Death Noodle Delivery. There’s some narrative to enjoy too, plenty of secrets, survival aspects, and more.

Our full review of Death Noodle Delivery on Xbox is fast approaching, but for now you’d do well to chuck some cash the way of the Xbox Store, picking up a download of the game, playing it on Xbox Series X|S (optimised) or Xbox One.

Alternatively, you’ll find the game on PlayStation and Nintendo Switch, as well as on Steam, where it’s picked up some ‘Positive’ reviews since launch a couple of months back.

Make sure you take in the trailer below to find out more about the game.

Death Noodle Delivery Description

Welcome to Death Noodle Delivery. Deliver the noodles, don’t waste a single portion and most importantly… try not to die. Ride your hoverboard and deliver your boss’ noodles, but be careful: there are plenty of dangers lurking in this cyberpunk city on the brink of collapse, from AI drones to bad drivers, I’d keep your eyes on the road. Upgrade your old hoverboard from a rusty ironing board to a perfected killing machine. Jailbreak AI paywalls and unlock new power-ups that let you manipulate time and launch explosive cats! Talk to your neighbours and find out their dirty stories. Browse the web for hacks and pleasure. Survive long enough, and you may discover that this world hides a terrible secret.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
