RIG 600 PRO ACID CAMO Headset

In the market for a new headset? RIG and Wicked Cushions have come together to create a limited edition RIG headset, the new RIG 600 PRO HS Acid Camo.

We’re big fans of RIG headsets and have reviewed the Xbox version of the RIG 600 previously. Give our review of the RIG 600 a read if you wish to know more about the base headset, but from there, it’s possibly time to get ready to experience a new level of comfort and style in your gaming sessions!

NACON, the powerhouse behind premium gaming accessories and the RIG audio brand, has announced the limited-edition RIG 600 PRO HS Acid Camo headset, a collaboration with renowned comfort experts Wicked Cushions.

A Match Made in Gaming Heaven

This GameStop exclusive headset combines the signature audio performance of the RIG 600 PRO series with the unmatched comfort and eye-catching design of Wicked Cushions’ WC PadZ earcups. The downside? Well, for us Xbox gamers we’ll only be able to use this headset through mobile or PC play, making the most of Game Pass as we go.

This collaboration marks Wicked Cushions’ first foray into the audio realm, and they’ve chosen RIG as their partner due to their shared dedication to innovation and performance.

The result is a headset that not only sounds incredible but also feels amazing to wear, even during marathon gaming sessions. That’s the idea behind it – we’ll let you know if that is ideed the case as soon as we’ve been heads-on.

Wicked Comfort Meets Wicked Style

The RIG 600 PRO HS Acid Camo features:

  • WC PadZ Ear Cushions: Experience superior comfort with dense memory foam and custom sports fabric, all wrapped in a striking camo-patterned PU leather.
  • Dual-Mode Wireless: Enjoy seamless connectivity with both 2.4GHz low-latency wireless and Bluetooth 5.1, allowing you to connect to various gaming platforms and mobile devices.
  • Unmatched Audio Quality: Immerse yourself in rich, detailed sound with bass-boosted 40mm drivers and tuned chamber acoustics.
  • Crystal-Clear Communication: Communicate with clarity thanks to the noise-rejecting, flip-to-mute microphone.
  • Exceptional Battery Life: Game for up to 24 hours on a single charge with Bluetooth or up to 18 hours with the 2.4GHz connection.
  • Versatile Compatibility: Connect to PlayStation, Xbox, PC, Nintendo Switch, Steam Deck, and mobile devices.

A Collaboration Built on Shared Values

“Partnering with Wicked Cushions has allowed us to take the RIG 600 PRO to a new level,” said Jack Reynolds, Brand Director for RIG. “The integration of Wicked Cushions’ unique design and comfort technology with our signature audio performance provides an enhanced experience for gamers.”

Or Amzaleg, founder of Wicked Cushions, echoed this sentiment: “We partnered with RIG for our first-ever audio brand collaboration due to their relentless pursuit of innovation and performance. At Wicked Cushions, we’ve always focused on enhancing comfort and style, and it’s clear RIG shares that same passion for pushing boundaries in gaming.”

Get Ready to Melt the Competition

The RIG 600 HS Acid Camo will be available exclusively at GameStop starting November 1st 2024 for $89.99 USD.

Just remember, this is a PlayStation-focused headset, but it is usable with PC and mobile, bringing Game Pass into the equation. In fact, design-wise, this feels a great fit to run alongside the equally good-looking Turtle Beach Atom controller.

I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
